Two New Classes in Salem - and Breakfast too!



Local knitter and instructor, Helen Burros, will be offering two technique classes in the Tea Room at Marco Polo on Sunday, February 10th and Sunday, February 24th.  The classes include a light breakfast and run from 8:30 - 10:30am, leaving the rest of your Sunday open.

While these aren't officially Teaselwick Wools classes I'm happy to support and encourage Helen's effort by accepting registrations at the shop.  Come on in and sign up - check or money order only please!

Here are the details:


Creative Cast-ons Class

Over a delicious light breakfast students will learn four advanced cast-ons and their uses - knitted cast-on, cable cast-on, i-cord cast-on, and Channel Island cast-on. Cost is just $25.00 for the class and breakfast with tea at Marco Polo Tea Shop on Sunday, February 10, from 8:30-10:30. Registration is limited to 15 knitters, must be paid by check or money order by February 3rd, 2013 and is non-refundable. Information sheets are available at Teaselwick Wools at registration. Increases-Decreases Class

Over a delicious light breakfast students will learn five increases including lifted, M1L, M1R, and K2tog, SSK, centered double decrease, and slanted double decrease, with suggestions for the use of these techniques. Cost is just $25.00 for the class and breakfast with tea at Marco Polo Tea Shop on Sunday, February 24, from 8:30-10:30. Registration is limited to 15 knitters, must be paid by check or money order by February 17, 2013 and is non-refundable. Information sheets are available at Teaselwick Wools at registration. Minimum age for the classes is 14 unless they are accompanied by a paid adult, and no one under 12 please.
Nursing babies are welcome with their mothers to class, with the understanding that if the baby fusses, mothers and child will step outside the classroom until the child is quiet again so that others may continue learning.
